These are questions we get asked frequently, so we have posted our answers in case you may have the same questions...

Can I place an order if I'm outside the United States?
We can ship anywhere in the world. However, due to the unique cost structure of shipping orders outside of the United States, we cannot accurately process your order online.  In order to give you the best shipping price available, we ask that you email your order to info@beertubes.com.  Please include the items you wish to odrer, as well as a complete shipping address with telephone number.  We will then send you an invoice via email with an estimated shipping cost.  We apologize for any inconvenience, but we want to be sure that you receive your order in a timely and cost effective manner.  After payment is processed, international orders usually take approximately 3-10 business days to receive.  If you choose to execute an order online, the credit card used will be charged any additional cost incurred to ship to your location due to the online processor not being able to calculate International Shipping cost.  We will still find the most economical route and email before shipment departs.

When will my order ship?
Our domestic shipping partner is United Parcel Service (UPS).  Shipping time may vary depending on whether the item is in stock (if it is show online IT IS in stock), your shipping location, inclimate weather, or holidays.  We make every effort to ship everything within 4 business days of your order.  If the product is in stock it, is usually shipped within 24-48 hours.   (Note: we only ship Monday-Friday).  Once a Product is shipped, you will receive an email confirmation from us including your tracking code(s). (NOTE: Sometimes our email server and the email server disagree which blocks our emails at times.  You can log in to your account to check status and also obtain tracking numbers.)  Some products, however, can take an additional 4-10 weeks to ship if they are not in stock.  Please feel free to email our customer service at  info@beertubes.com if you have any additional shipping questions.

Due to nature of shipping to Alaska and Hawaii, we will contact you before shipping to review various shipping options.  Since they are outside the contential United States, there are several parameters which can take up to 3-5 weeks to receive depending on nature/cost of how it is shipped.  Unless specified those shipments are done Parcel Post which is the most economical option for you but can take 21-35 days to receive.  If you have an a question, please contact us and we can get back to you in a very timely manner.

For international orders (including Canada and Mexico), please email your order to info@beertubes.com.  Unfortunately our online order system cannot accurately determine international shipping charges.  By emailing your order, we can provide shipping estimates and then you can determine the best option.

Is a Product in Stock?

All of the items shown online are kept in stock.  If a product is out of stock, we will make every effort to remove it offline.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact us at info@beertubes.com to obtain more information on a specific product.

Does it keep beverages cold?
Yes. The BeerTube is made out of high-density 3mm poly-carbonate material that naturally insulates the beverage.  Each tube also has a plastic cap to keep the external room temperature from affecting the beverage temperature. Tests have shown that draft beer increases 2 degrees every 23 minutes (beer tap temperature averaged 37 degrees from the tap). Cold beer = happy drinkers!  If you need additional cooling (i.e. you are serving the Beer Tubes outdoors or in a warm climate), we do offer the insertable Ice Tube that is filled with ice and dropped into the tube, as well as The Chill Stick.  Both items can be found under "accessories" on www.beertubes.com.

What kind of beverages can be served using the tubes?
Any cold beverage! While cold beer is great for the Beer Tube, you can also use it for soft drinks, juice, margaritas, or even mixed drinks.  You can either add ice cubes directly to the tube, or use one of our cooling options especially designed for the Beer Tube.

Are they good for parties?
The BeerTube is great for social gatherings. You can use them for meetings, social events, corporate outings, and even birthday parties. Beverages stay colder and you do not have to refill them as fast since they hold more than traditional pitchers.

What about Kids birthday parties?
Kids love using the tubes because they are fun, and most importantly for parents, they are stable.  The tube bases weigh from 5-11 pounds (depending on the design), so they are very stable and stay upright. Kids love that they can serve themselves and parents love that they not only don't have to pour every drink, but also that the kids don't risk spilling the Tube.

What size are these products?
The Tubes (base + tube) are approximately 3.5 feet tall. The bases are approximately 12 inches x 12 inches so they do not take up too much table space. The sports themed designs weigh between 4-9 pounds total without beverage. The "balloons" stand approximately 2 feet tall and weigh 3 pounds without beverage inside.

How many ounces do they hold?
The Tube easily holds 100 ounces and is labeled in 10 oz. increments.  It can hold up to 115 ounces if filled to the very top.  If you use the optional Ice Tube or The Chill Stick, they will displace approximately 20 ounces and 8 ounces respectively.

How do you clean them?
We have a 36-inch cleaning brush that can be purchased to make cleaning the Tubes very easy. The bases can be cleaned with a washcloth and soap/water or household cleaner.

What if it breaks?
We offer a 90-day warranty (replacement) that the product does not have any defects. Each tube design is three separate pieces (base, tube and tap) so that over the course of time if something needs to be replaced (or you want to buy extra) you can do so without having to purchase a complete unit. We do not cover intentional/unintentional damage (i.e. it is thrown to the ground). If your product has an issue we ask that you take a digital photo of the problem and email us at service@beertubes.com. We will be happy to address you individual situation appropriately.

We use your product at our bar in place of pitchers? How do you prevent them from being stolen?
Our products are very high quality and there is always temptation for someone to "borrow" one for their personal use. We suggest that you do the following to protect your investment:

  • When a consumer wants to buy a tube (just like buying a pitcher) you ask them to leave a credit card and drivers license that you hold as a deposit till they return it at the end of the night or when they are finished.
  • A few places have taken a third step by adding a "waiver" form authorizing you to charge their credit card for whatever amount you deem necessary (i.e. $200) to cover the cost if they do not return it.
